Hello!

I'm TAMI, the children's friend and the adults' counselor.
I will be your guide in CDTI-ESCC

If you have chosen to visit the Innovative Technologies Demonstration Center (CDTI) or camp in Eco Scout Camping Copăcel (ESCC), I assume that you respect nature, your neighbor, and are ready to follow a few basic rules that will make your visit/camping an example for everyone.
ESCC is an energy independent campsite and its resources (water, electricity, firewood, Wi-Fi, waste recycling capacity) are limited. Following the rules while camping will significantly reduce your carbon footprint (CO2) and make your stay at the campsite enjoyable for everyone.

The campsite is ready to welcome you to camp between 7 am and 11 pm.

After 11 pm, access to the campsite is only through the small entrance (gate).

Between 11pm and 7am it is mandatory to keep quiet!

Access by car/caravan to the campsite is allowed between 7 am and 11 pm only in the parking lot, on the roads and on the reserved plot.

To preserve the diversity of flora inside the campsite, pedestrian traffic is prohibited in some areas.

Use the marked paths!

Water is a limited resource!

You can find drinking water at the "fountains" at the administrative geodome (Ad.) and the sanitary group (GS)

To save water, all sinks have "pedal taps" and controlled temperature (cold/hot). To turn on the water at the tap, you have to press the pedal on the floor/wall.

The stream inside the campsite is intended to maintain biodiversity and it is prohibited to discharge any substances into its bed.

Don't wash anything in the stream!

Electricity is a limited resource!

– You can use 220V electricity from the sanitary group (GS), the administrative geodome (Admin.) or from the camping plots

– You can charge your phones using the sockets at the administrative geodome (Ad.)

– Use light bulbs only if absolutely necessary

In the ESCC, garbage is collected and stored selectively in 5 categories:

– Paper – yellow

– Plastic and metals – blue

– Glass – green

– Biodegradable compost – brown

– Household waste – black

Do not leave food or food scraps within reach of animals!

Firewood is a limited resource!

You can only light a fire in specially designated areas in the social areas (S) or in the campfire area (FT).

– Extinguish with water when not in use.

Do not leave the fire unattended!
